Aspect
3-MMC can come in 3 different forms:
- a fine, compact and white powder
- a white crystalline powder (shine and that seems moist)
- in small white crystals.
The RC “official” distributor of 3-MMC site seems to be the only one to offer it. Never have we seen a site keep a molecule so jealously and for so long, even at the time of the Benzo Fury (6-APB). It is also quite likely that 3-MMC can be identified in tablets or powder bags of various and often rasy trade names such as “NRG”, “legal blow” and so many others…
Smell
Like mephedrone, 4-MEC and many other cathinone derivatives, 3-MMC has a characteristic smell and taste that is difficult to get rid of. This smell can be reminiscent of that of licorice.

Legality
3-MMC has been classified as a prohibited substance in France since the Order of July 27, 2012. This decree extends the ban to “any molecule derived from cathinone, its salts and stereoisomers”
This means that almost all synthetic cathinones are de facto prohibited from sale, possession and use on French national territory. This type of legislation was also adopted in the United Kingdom, a few months after the ban on mephedrone alone (this is also the reason why no UK-based RC site has been selling synthetic cathinones since 2010) as well as by Belgium in April 2013.
